Im thinking of going for a short half hour jog at 5.30am . would only be around the streets, but adding this on top of my normal daily walks id be burning 875calories a day and giving me 2305 calories to eat.
but that seems alot to eat to lose weight id be eating over maintenance.. also will it help my middle section to skrink

I would say go for it.. its a great way to start the day. And don't feel you have to eat back all your calories.. You don't really need to. And there is no spot reduction.. Its a myth.. If you exercise and lose weight, you will lose a little bit from everywhere. And eventually that means from your mid section.0

You wouldn't be NETTING over your maintenance calories though. Your total calories would be high, but your net calories wouldn't be.
If you are supposed to eat 1200 calories - 400 burned = 800 + 400 eaten back = 1200 (net). Your total, however, would be 1600.0 -
I noticed a difference in my thighs and stomach when I started running.0

I'm planning on doing this as well. I love getting moving in the morning prior to work.
Good luck!0
