Hi, phew - at least Im not on my own then lol! Im really enjoying doing Atkins - finding it so easy and people are noticing the weightloss now which is always good - 12lb is fab well done! Im starting running again in January - did quite a bit last year then injured my knee - was going to start again this week but I reckon theres not much point if we end up with all the snow again over xmas so will wait til January then have 6 months til my first 10k so hopefully that will help me shed some lbs lol!0

Hi - course I dont mind you adding me - we all need support! I did Atkins years ago when it had a very unhealthy approach it was basically fry ups! Its been rewritten now and has a lot more healthy approach - I found all the details on Atkins.com for free, I recommend you read through all the scientific stuff too, takes a bit to get your head round it! I really enjoy it, for example today I have had a bacon and cheese omlette for brekkie - had pork belly with cheesy creamy brocolli and an atkins choc bar (which are lush) and for tea when Im actually hungry Im having chicken and bacon with rosemary and garlic in a cream sauce on top of raw spinach - if you like meat, eggs, cheese and cream then its the diet for you - of course you can have salad and some certain veggies with it but thats all explained on the site. Im getting weighed in morning but know I have lost inches if nothing else xx0

wow. sounds lovely to be honest! I'm not quite sure whether I should start an actual diet or carry on what I'm doing for the moment, I just don't want to plateau because I'll knock my confidence I think. I'm not sure though0

Id stick to what works for you chick - and it obviously is - Im just not strict enough to not follow a plan cos little treats always keep jumping into my 'healthy eating' lol! Im going to stick to what Im doing at the min but Ive done every diet under the sun lol! I like atkins cos it kerbs my hunger so much - Im not even hungry yet from lunch so still got my tea to go, got jelly and single cream for pudding and then still got some cheese left to have with some green olives tonight - still got 5g of carbs left as well. This is the first day that I have tracked my food using this and I think its a fab way to keep on track - even if it is saying Ive over eaten by 1200 calories today ! I must do everyday then but that the joy of Atkins is the more healthy fats you eat like olive oil etc the more weight you lose x0
