I am no good at this. These introductions. I find it difficult to properly explain things unless asked about them, but I'll do my best and give a little. Hopefully enough that if someone wants to know more, they'll ask. :-)

I'm here because I like to record things. I find it difficult to maintain my willpower without a plan, so this site is my best attempt at a plan. I gained 60 delightfully jiggling pounds from my pregnancy, 8 of which belonged to my son. The rest is mine and follows me around like a big sack of pudding attached to my *kitten*. My sensational hubby recently bought me a new treadmill on which I've been running 2.5 miles a day faithfully with the exception of this very weekend because everyone needs a break from shin splints am I right?

I don't personally enjoy discussing diet so I won't, but I like taking about recipes. I also enjoy talking about philosophy and psychology and their impacts on health and what people deem ideal in physicality. I want to document my progress and not-so-progressive comings. I like the support I've read on other topics and want to be supportive. You guys are awesome and I think I can do this. I am currently 200 pounds and want to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight of 150...eventually.it is going to take some work but I am more than prepared for the journey. So....here we go.

Welcome welcome welcome. This site is fabulous and has very effective tools to assist. Good work with the treadmill. Believe in yourself and watch the pounds/kgs disappear (and of course a few lifestyle changes).
