1200 cal looking for daily meal plans

Hello,
MFP put me 1200cal per day, which is ok for me, but I like to see what you're eating with 1200 cal a day to get new ideas :-)

    Breakfast 200-300 cals - Cereal or porrige with semi skimmed milk, or 2 eggs scrambled, or a slice of wholemeal toast with peanut butter.

    Lunch 300 cals - home made soup or salad

    Dinner 400 cals - grilled chicken breast with steamed veggies.

    Snacks 200 cals - hard boiled egg, rice cakes with light spready cheese, crab sticks, almonds, string cheese

    I'm doing a little more than that right now, but some of my low cal options I like include bananas (100-120cal), clementines (40-50cal), Fiber One yogurt (50cal), Fiber One Caramel Delight Cereal w/ Skim Milk (210cal), Multi Grain Cheerios w/ Skim Milk (150cal), and 6 slices Healthy Ones Turkey w/ Nature's Own 40 Calorie Wheat Bread (140 cals/sandwich). I also drink 2 cups of water with EVERY meal or snack, which helps me get my gallon a day and also curbs hunger IME/IMO. Hope this helps!

    You can add me and look at my diary. I get 1270 a day and I eat my exercise calories back. Here is an example of what I eat:

    Breakfast: Cream of wheat made with water then I add 1/2 c. skim milk (helps to cool it to a eatable temp), coffee, and a piece of fruit (usually a banana)

    AM Snack: Yoplait Light yogurt and fruit cup

    Lunch: Michelina's Light Frozen dinner (I keep the sodium under 600 mg)

    PM Snack: Veggie (either carrots and celery sticks or Green Giants Just For One Frozen Veggies)

    Dinner: Baked fish, brown/wild rice, and broccoli & cauliflower; dessert if I have calories left

    30 minutes before bed I have a cup of Chamomile Tea.

    I'm finding sushi is really helping keep my calories down and usually eat it 2-3xs a week either for lunch or dinner. Its filling and you can eat 8 cali rolls for just over 300 calories.

    I find the Skinny Taste website good for recipes :)

    I am set to a 1300 cal diet but honestly most days I eat 1600-1700 cal. Things I enjoy include cereal with milk, greek yogurt, vitatops, jimmy dean delights (260 cal, when I am in a rush in the morning), grilled chicken rolled in crushed cereal, fresh veggies, bananas, 100 cal snack packs/bars. I really try not to deprive myself from food but just eat less and make better choices.

    I try to stay under 200 cals for breakfast
    350ish cals for lunch
    the rest is evening snacks and dinner because I get hungry later

    Drinking lots of water helps me. Vegetables and frozen vegetables are great and low calorie... I add as many veggies as I can to my meals to fill me up. Usually I have a lean meat and veggies for lunch.. or soup or something small..

    my dinners are whatever I can fit in calorie wise..


    Salads, frozen veggies, fruits, air popped popcorn, fiber bars, and other things are great lower calorie options..
    There are several websites which will list recipes based on how many calories you want to spend. Let me know if you need any links or ideas.
