I am determined to be able to enjoy the food on Thanksgiving and NOT go over my calories, so I am starting my day with an 8am Zumba class. What are you doing?

Planning on a 4-5 mile run in the morning. Then enjoying dinner within reason. If I burn a lot in the morning, I'll know what my limit is later on.
I'm also planning going a bit under (with exercise) on other days this week, so that I can have a little extra wiggle room.0 -
That's Great you're starting off with Zumba - you will feel energized & make great food choices
I'm waking up early & doing JM's 6W6P Level 2 (challenge I'm in) & then Hubz & I are heading to the gym since they're open till Noon on TG. Getting a KILLER workout in to earn our calories & then heading to in-laws for a really good meal & family time  (of course we'll shower & get ready at the gym before we head over so we don't smell like stale turkey's  )0 -
Im going to hit the elliptical and stay on until I get at least 1000 calories burned.0

well I just thought I wouldnt get my exercise in my day...but now that you mention it.... I too will go to an early Zumba class!
Thanks for the motivation0 -
I was planning on working out that morning, but now I'll be recovering from gallbladder surgery instead! I'll just have to be careful what I eat that day since I won't be able to exercise!0

Going for a 2.5 mile run at the park! Might go for a brisk walk after the feast.0

I am running in a 4 mile turkey race!0

I had a galbladder attack after Thanksgiving dinner last year and then had it taken out just after Christmas. Although recovery is never fun, you will be glad that it is out. Good luck and hope you have a speedy recovery.0 -

LOL, smelling like stale turkeys would definitely be bad!0 -
We usually take a 4-5 mile family walk Thanksgiving morning...0

I plan on doing the Tread Mill for an Hour and a Half on Level 10 at 4.2 Miles Per Hour. That will burn around 1000 calories and then be selective on what I eat and stay within the calories allowed.0

Spinning class on the eve before and at least a 1,000 calorie burn Thanksgiving morning. Probably run and elliptical to ensure a nice 1K burn!0

I had four attacks in a month, and now I have what feels like a stitch in my side (like you get when you run too fast) that never goes away. The constant nagging pain is very irritating and draining. I'm so ready to get it out and done with! We have a general surgeon in our church, and he's the one doing it. I think he's taken out every gallbladder in the church over the years! He has a very good reputation in the area, so I know I'll be in good hands!0 -
If the weather cooperates, going for a walk with my youngest, and 2 exercise dvd's in the morning - dinner will be late afternoon, so I can be well prepared! I am also eating under goal by100-200 all week, to give myself extra wiggle room. I think I'll track my cals on Thursday, but being in charge of the menu is also helping, mentally, because I know I can relax and just enjoy it.0

I wanted to do a Turkey Trot this year but had no one to go with me (my daughter's in college and bro-in-law has a kneee injury!) so I'm not into doing it alone. :ohwell: May do my own Trot on a treadmnill at the gym.... Not the same but it will burn the calories!0 -
Planning on getting up early & doing my dad's 5k route in his neighborhood! It will be good prep for the Gobble Wobble on Saturday!!
Then shower & help mom in the kitchen!! YAY family!!0 -
