My name is Kris.


Life sucked, then I ate for comfort. Long story short, I started to train for triathlons and then was laid up for 7 weeks in the hospital due to a motorcyle flipping on me at 120mph.

Yeah, working out sucks when you have chronic pain, but I push through. I still ride, I'm very active. My doctor said she wishes all her pain/heart patients were like me.

My goal is 135, and so far I've lost 8 lbs since I started MFP.

I'm looking for workout buddies in my area.

    Hey Chris-It sounds like you are on the right track. I have lost 17 total but I want to lose 50 more. I have been on heart meds and anti-depressants and gained a lot. I am 57 and the older you get the slower it is. You'll do great. I'm here for anyone who needs someone to understand or help! God Bless!

    I was doing pretty great on my lifestyle change, but last month, my grandma died unexpectedly and my car was broken into for the third time in 3 months, and I've found out I'm a stress eater. I didn't gain anything, but I stayed at my lost weight.


    I hope to make friends here.
