Sure, you can use the site basically the same way. You need a little more because of your pregnancy - I think it's 200-300 calories more? But before you start restricting calories, you need to talk to your doctor about it! They can help you figure out how much you should be eating without endangering the baby.0

used it while i as pregnant with my son but i only started using it in the last months of pregnancy and the damage was done i had put on a stone  but i did find it good for still making the rite choices and not just going for the easy snack of crisps etc and i didnt put on as much as what i did with my daughter
congratulations on your pregnancy and baby to be!0 -
I switched to maintenance in the first trimester, then for 2nd and 3rd add the eating for pregnancy (or something similar) to your food log. It gives you 300 extra a day. I can't say yet if it helps or not because both times I have lost in first trimester, then with my first I really packed it on 2nd. I'm at 20 weeks right now and waiting to see what will happen!0

This site is great for tracking nutrients and calories for baby! Just be smart about it and your weight gain will be both healthy and minimal. Then, after your bundle of joy arrives, you can use the site to lose any excess pounds you may have around!
Congratulations! Enjoy the journey!0 -
I heard you only need the extra calories in the third trimester and is marginal ....200-300kCal a day extra...0

I think that is a super idea! Just find out from your doc how many extra calories you need. I wish I had done that! Then you are good and used to using the site for when you need to lose the baby weight.
Congratulations and kudos for taking care of yourself and your baby during your pregnancy.0 -
Yes you can!
With the help of this site and a Nutritionist I didn't gain much weight at all and I was back to my pre pregnancy weight and wearing my pre pregnancy clothing immediately after delivery. It was fantastic!
Congratulations and good luck!!!0 -
I have used it during two pregnancies. I set my calories to maintain and I end up gaining the recommended amount of weight gain. Talk to your OB though about what works for you. I started both pregnancies at a healthy weight. With the two pregnancies I did not use MFP I gained quite a bit more. I've used MFP off and on to lose weight post pregnancy too.0
