Hey All
I* thought I'd start this thread and we can see how many healthy sides we can come up with for Thanksgiving.

I'm thinking some roasted cauliflower and maybe some roasted green beans with garlic/tomato (fresh) topping.

What are some other ideas that y'all have planned?

I am making the traditional green bean casserole with light cream of mushroom soup and real green beans and mushroom. I am also making a spinach gratin and corn casserole. I have replaced alot of the fatty calorie rich ingredients for lesser ones. I got them from skinnytaste.com

Wow that all sounds super yummy! We always have strawberry spinach salad at our family get togethers.

Instead of candied "yams," I've just baking sweet potatoes. I'm pretty much lightening up everything I'm making.

I am making a roasted edamame salad. It's got edamame, corn, tomato, garlic, fresh basil in it and I serve it cold, dressed with a little red wine vinegar. I am also doing green beans tossed with olive oil, salt, pepper, and a few toasted almond slivers.
  • cream of spinach
    corn casserole
    low fat gravy homemade
