I really wanted to lose the last 8lbs before the end of this week of by Christmas at least but I don't think it;s possible, having a crap time at the minute.

The last 8lbs is stuck to me like glue and I know the only way for me to lose it is to eat super clean. I just find this very hard to stick to tbh. Like VERY hard to stick to. How do people with jobs, kids etc cope with eating so clean???? Can anyone enlighten me?

I haven't logged my food in a week or so. I haven't exercised since last monday. Kids both sick, I've had cystitis for 3 weeks..finally got an antibiotic for it on saturday. Have a headcold now too to boot.

We are in the process of planning on moving our family for my husbands new job. Not all that far to go but looking at new childcard options for the kids, rental houses, renting out our family home which is upsetting but it's too far a commute for my husbands new job. It's all stressing me out. I cannot seem to get organised on anything much apart from the move and all that is entailing.

I've stayed the same weight which is good at least. I think I will head to the gym tomorrow night. Heading off to Germany on friday to see myy sister with a friend of ours. Haven't even thought about what to wear yet and my mam is minding our 3 year old for us for 2 nights while I'm away and I haven't a stitch packed for him too. Not 1 list made up for anything!! Shocking.

I need a serious kick when I get back from Germany. Want to lose SOME lbs before my Christmas party on the 09 Dec. I'm only asking for maybe 2 lbs. Super duper clean eating has to be done so.

I thought this meant that you have started to smoke/ eat weed in order to help with your weight loss.
    "How counter productive" I thought.

First thing I've learned through my weight loss is that it is okay to take time for yourself. I sometimes feel like I'm just turning in circles but what I can't finish today I can do tomorrow. I get up at 5 am through the week to get my workout in before my family's day even starts. You are worth finding 30 minutes a day to fit in your well being!

Eh no!!! Just a saying we have here in Ireland. Gone to pot means all gone belly up or something along those lines!

Well, you're here and writing this message, which implies to me that you're holding yourself accountable, so you seem to be off to a good start. Just remind yourself of your motivation (maybe the Christmas party you mentioned?) when you're thinking of reaching for something you know you shouldn't, or thinking of hitting the snooze button on the alarm instead of heading to the gym, etc. And have some MFP friends help encourage you and keep you on track!

Take the time for yourself where you can. Sometimes life just gets busy. Unless it's within your power to control everything around you, you have to give up a little control and take the reins when you can. Eat the best you can, exercise when you can and manage the rest of your life during this time the best you can. It will fall into place when things settle back down. Either you make exercising and eating well a priority or other parts of your life are the priority.

'They' (whoever 'they' are!) say when exercise is important to you, it's not: 'Am I going to exercise?, it's *when* am I going to exercise?'.

Take care and be a little easy on yourself... things get busy....
