I have a bad knee and am looking for some low impact cardio reccomendations besides a stationary bike or elliptical trainer. I already do those and they get a bit boring sometimes.
Thanks!
                Thanks!

Do you have access to a pool? Swimming is one of the best low-impact cardios out there! A 150-lb person can burn around 250 calories in 30 min just doing laps.0

I agree with this. I have back issues and I was told to try swimming to take the stress off my back and my joints.0

Almost every aerobics type DVD I've seen has a low-impact variations built in. I do Turbo Jam and since I have weak ankles I do the low impact version which is demonstrated by two of the girls in the background. I think most DVDs are like this.0

I love my rowing machine! It takes a few sessions to really master good form, but after that, it's a blast!0

I was going to say swimming as well.
If I ever am sore or achy --- I go straight to the pool. Its relaxing, but you still burn calories. Its a great low impact workout. I usually do laps -- but you can do all sorts of aerobics in the pool too!0
