You could stuff a duck with chicken then stuff the turkey with the duck! So YUM! They are called TURDUCKINS! Can only get them in Louisianna! (I think) xD
I've heard of the elusive and legendary Turduckin. Is it Turduckin season in Louisiana?

I've never actually stuffed a turkey (live in the south, it's dressing all the way)! So what is the preferred method for stuffing one?0

I'm a vegetarian. I only eat Ham.0

A duck and a chicken?
Turduckin FTW! hehe
Its actually not that great, I tried to make it and it dried out because you have to cook it for sooo long.
I normally don't stuff the bird cause I am sooo afraid of salmonella, I sometimes put an apple and some butter inside.
Bake the stuffing with a little turkey drippings. Its pretty much the same thing and you get more crusty parts. 0 -
I'm also a fan of stuffing with carrots! and celery!
But they are both so cold, they have to be warmed up first. Fact.0 -
Prozac and vodka! :drinker:
IM COMING TO YOUR HOUSE FOR TURKEY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -

I just had a thought
How about Taco meat instead of sausage in the stuffing????0 -

You have to really push it in there, to make sure it gets all the way in, no need to be gentle.0 -

OMG! You just made me snort again!!0 -
ppl think that it's all about the stuffing. it is not. it's all about the RUB. you have to treat your turkey right. rub it down with some butter and some savory herbs. the stuffing is secondary. but when you DO stuff it, make sure that you stuff it carefully so that when it's totally full and ready to overflow with all that savory, nutty, steaming stuffing, you can still tie the legs closed and keep all that lovely stuffing inside. you'd be surprised how much your bird can take.0
