Whether you are on the Spike Program or not, dieters need to know that it is ok to take a day off, and in fact it will help you lose weight in the long run.
Thanksgiving! Food, football, and naps, oh and pie!
Take the day off, and eat whatever you want, 100% guilt free!
Enjoy

If one day of eating well will not make you thinner, why would one day of indulging make you gain weight? Just enjoy yourself. I am talking to ALL OF YOU!
I liked this so much I brought it from another thread
Enjoy your spike day all you MF(P)ers

I am with you there. I usually give myself a break on Sundays. It does help to keep on the straight and narrow the rest of the week. However, I am wracked with guilt after indulging. I could probably use an army of specialists to study my psyche, but how does one get over that? And where does it come from? I guess you just cut yourself some slack, huh?0

Don't forget the booze too! :drinker:
How did I forget?!?!
For me it's beer during the game, and then wine with the pie at night.
I love Thanksgiving!0 -

For fellow Spikers,
FYI, I still have my normal Spike Day on Saturday too. It's a "Free Pass from Russ" just like a birthday!!!!0 -
As there is no holiday tomorrow here, I will eat to my diet. I may lay caution to the wind on Christmas day, if the spread at my partner's mum's place is good enough!
I can assure you also that calories will not be counted on my birthday in March next year. I have a complete diet rest day once every few months.0 -
I am all in on this.....I think my metabolism could use a good slap upside the head!0

I am SO sick of all the Thanksgiving threads on here and I was SO hoping that someone would post this! Thank you! I will be happily boosting my metabolism tomorrow and I will not be "stressing" or "logging." :laugh:0

One more day to Thanksgiving!
I'm already drooling :happy:0
