How often should you weigh yourself?

I usually only weigh myself once a week, but wasn't sure if I should be doing it more often after seeing other people log it so frequently.

I weigh myself once a day.... often twice, but I'm a little obsessive. I'd say once or twice a week is probably better. That way you don't freak out if you've increased 0.6 lbs in one day like I did this morning. :noway:0

i weigh every morning..only on the morning..id get discouraged from my food weight throughout the day0

I think once a week is healthy. I watch the biggest loser a lot..and although they have a lot more weight to lose, its nice seeing one BIG number once a week instead of seeing "1 lb lost" on a tuesday...and then "2 lbs lost" on a saturday. Just my opinion! Also, you dont want to be too obsessed over it because weight does fluctuate.0

should be weight the same day once a week speacial for women we go up and down. I have a happet of weight every day. but it need to be consitant the same day same time once a week ie if it on friday when you get up do that every friday. the same way0

I've heard many times that once a week at the same time is good.
I've however become somewhat obsessed with my scale and have to stop myself from weighing myself every morning. lol0 -

I weigh daily to keep myself accountable. There isn't a right amount to weight yourself, just how often works for you.0

For me, I like once a week (which is about 20x more frequent than I used to do). I feel like more often could become a little disappointing when you don't always see a change (at least for me).0

I weigh myself whenever I go home, so could be every week, once every two weeks etc... I know weight loss is always the goal, but I don't want it to be my focus. Eating healthier, being more active and treating my body well are more important than numbers on a scale. And being a little OCD, I know I'd obsess over it in a completely unhealthy way!0

I weight myself every morning- to remind myself why I am doing this every day- but only "weigh in " once a week- and thats fridays. I have thought about going to a monthly weigh in- but havent decided on that yet.0

i weigh myself 1st thing in the morning after i pee then multiple times through out the day to keep my from stuffing myself. i only count my weight on sunday and wensday to see changes. cause your more likely to see a change and not get discouraged if it isnt everyday.0

Anything more than once a week will drive you crazy, especially when you're as obsessed about the number on the scale as most are around here.0
