Has anyone done this? I'm considering getting a Turbo Kick Instruction certification. Was it hard? Easy? Do you currently teach classes? Do you get a lot of people?

Thanks!

I first started teaching Turbo Kick in 2004. The program is great. Once you get used to the moves and combinations, and get used to teaching, it is a blast. I took the certification course when I was first getting into teaching group fitness. Right after my certification, I was immediately given a class. So I had to learn fast. But it is not that hard. It just takes practice.

My classes were always full. And when I stopped to have a baby, I was missed (no one else taught TK). I am currently going through the home study course to get recertified. But if you have never been certified, I suggest that you take the live course.

Turbo Kick has put a much needed spark into basic Kickboxing classes, which are very repetitive and boring, IMO. I was getting burned out and was happy that I had the opportunity to teach Turbo Kick. You will love it, as well as your participants.

I currently teach, I live in a small town, and we have about 20 registered, and it just depends on the night/time how many come out each night. But its not about the numbers. It's about have an awesome time, burning a ton of calories and helping people change their lives. Just do it!
