:grumble: Okay I need some help. I started exercising last October and I lost 10 lbs fast. But it's been several months and my weight has not moved down but it hasn't moved up either. I work really hard exercising but my weight doesn't seem to go anywhere. I don't get it, I don't think my scale is broken it's only a few months old. HELP does anyone have any ideas to help me?

What is a typical day of eating like for you?

Firstly, the closer you are to your goal, the harder it will be to get those pounds off. If you are not rising or falling in your weight, then you are eating the cals that you are expending each day. Has your size changed, even while the weight hasn't much?

Have you been logging on MFP? Have you put in the updated weight and info to get your daily cals? Have you been honest with yourself (and MFP's log) about your exercise calories? Have you been varying the TYPE of exercise you get?

Are you eating the same thing every day, pretty much? If so, your body's used to it and you need to change some things. I say this as someone who HAS to eat a limited diet due to food allergies, so it's hard to change things up with the schedule and food issues I have. I find that I stagnate, find something different to eat, and start moving again, mostly.

It's the last 15 pounds, or thereabouts, that are hard to come off. Actually, I'm not so much worried about pounds as size. I would like to reduce at least to another dress size, so if the pounds don't change much but the size does, I'll be almost as happy.

Look at the above questions. Hope they're helpful.

How many calories are you consuming and how often and what kind of excercises are you doing?

Thanks so much for the responses. I don't eat the same stuff every day, I try to change it up as much as possible. I do a cardio dance class called Zumba and I'm burning 600 calories but it's only twice a week. I also run several miles but that's not as frequent as I would like. I try really hard to consume what I'm suppose to and at times I do go over but that's very rare. I think I need to monitor what I eat more. Thanks again and I will take your advice and work it out.
