Site says I should be eating only 1.4k calories in order to lose 2lbs a week. Is that correct. At 10am I already felt shaky and dizzy. Does it matter when you should have your meals? Im trying to save most of my allocated calories for dinner time.

Have a good breakfast, spread out your meals, and eat your exercise calories.... You shouldn't feel like you're going to pass out at 10am :frown: Check with your doc if that continues.....0

ok thanks, im on Chantix for quitting smoking, maybe that has something to do with it. I had a bagel w cream cheese for breakfast and a cup of brewed coffee. Maybe i made the coffee too strong too...

The coffee could be dehydrating your body. Try drinking more water. Good luck!0

My coworkers son is on that and he said he felt crazy today and couldn't even stand himself- Im thinking it is the medicine-
a bagel with cream cheese and a cup a of coffee is alot to keep you full- talk to your doctor about your perscription0 -
I passed out a couple weeks ago. The doctor said to make sure to eat protein at every meal/snack. Looking back, I ate a lot carbs but I hardly ever met my goal of protein.0

You may also want to check with your doctor or a nutritionist about getting some calcium--especially when drinking coffee. I'm not sure how it would react with Chantix (hence the conversation with your doc), but I think that calcium is a stress mineral (i.e., it gets sucked up and taken away when you're stressed) and may be able to help when the caffiene hits you.
I know that if I have too much caffiene, I get the shakes pretty bad and want to eat everything in sight to make it stop.0 -
I know everyone is different but my rule of thumb is to have a small snack every 1.5 - 2 hours between meals. Those 100 calorie pack snacks are great...even if you only eat a half at a time. Either way, getting the shakes is no good and you definitely need to do something. :noway:0

My solution for my shakes is to ensure I only drink coffee with a meal and to pretty much stick to herbal tea as a hot drink and water as a not-so-hot drink. It works--usually. And, if I wait it out, the shakes usually go away within 10-15 minutes. It's just hard sometimes not to become a human garbage can in that time period. I HATE the shakes! :mad:0 -
I took Chantix to quit smoking and never felt like passing out. I did, however, feel very tired because I wasn't able to sleep well because of the crazy dreams it gave me :laugh: Congrats on quitting!! It's not easy but will be worth it, I promise.
Since coffee can dehydrate you, make sure you are getting enough water, especially as the weather gets warmer. You said you like to keep the majority of your calories for dinner, that's fine, just make sure you're eating small snacks/meals throughout the day, though, to keep that body all nice & fueled0 -

Chantrix = Wellbutrin so you might be able to find more info on the internet if you look it up under the other name..
I had a problem with it, not at passing out but yeah, I was overly anxious and felt jittery although I wasn't literally shaking, I felt like I was inside. It may go away over time.
Protein is critical, make sure you are getting at LEAST the amt of protein MFP says, because it's kind of low on here. You might want to snack more with low cal stuff, every half hour or so to keep your blood sugar up, like carrot sticks or something. Also try almonds, Blue Diamond makes 100 calorie packs (just easier than counting/measuring in a hurry).
I felt like that after working out, was eating the right # of cals, but was always cold, felt tired, etc. I wasn't eating enough protein for breakfast, once I changed that, it helped me feel better thru-out the day. I also wasn't eating my exercise cals, so I started eating them, and that also helped.0
