Hello all I read the forums at work when i'm working the night shift for ideas and inspiration. This got me thinkin...


I was curious if I should be taking a daily vitamin to help with weight loss and or metabolism boosting supplement?

Is this a good idea yea or nay?

    Ya me too. I hear Green Tea helps boost Metabolism and it also helps as a diahredic.

    When I spoke to my dr in January about losing weight when I started this journey he advised me to take a multi vitamin daily just in case I was not getting all the vitamins from my food, as food looses some during the cooking process.

    Ya... I might have to hit a GNC this week or something. I haven't taken vitamins in years though. They'll probably feed me alot of BS and talk me into buying other things but i'm sure the Vitamin's can't hurt any...

    On my workout days, I take 1MR or Jack3D. These have a ton of caffeine, amino acids and other stuff. They really help with focus and endurance when working out, but can cause jitters, sleeplessness, etc. If you want a heavy duty fat burner (thermogenic), try Cellucor D4 Thermal Shock. This is not to be taken the same day as 1MR or Jack3D. You can take a green tea extract as well.

    I think a daily vitamin cannot hurt and is a good idea, even if you are not dieting or working out. I take GNC Mega Men Sport vitamins daily. One in the morning and one in the evening to more evenly distribute them. Just my opinions, read the labels and do research before trying any supplements.

    A proper diet, and strength training will give you all the vitamins and metabolic boost you need.

    I take a women's multi-vitamin and vitamin B complex, to boost my metabolim. I say the multi-vitamin for sure, no idea if the vitamin B complex helps or not but in my mind it does... :)

    Interesting. I'm not really wanting to take the caffeene pills. I used to take Hydroxycut Hardcore back when it was for sale. Sure i lost 15lbs on it but i felt like i was high!
