Are the sugars in fresh fruits good or bad? Also what about in orange juice too.

Only bad if you are diabetic. But that doesn't mean you should drink a ton of juice or eat a ton of fruit, as it will still have an effect on your energy levels.0

One 8 ounce orange juice takes out my whole sugar level for the day0

ignore MFP's sugar requirement if you are not diabetic, track something else instead.0

The sugar in fruits is a natural sugar that is not really bad for you and I would say that OJ is a good choice, but watch out for added sugar or high fructose corn syrup those will both sabotage your efforts.0

Turning fruit into a juice removes all the "work" that your body does to help break the fruit into digestible pieces. This increases the glycemic index of the fruit making the sugar in the fruit MUCH easier for your body to absorb quickly. So, if presented with an apple or apple juice (even without any additives) the apple is a much healthier choice.0
