I have done Insanity before and have started again! I am doing Insanity every other day with Insanity weights and ChaLEAN Extreme weights on the off days! I do an Insanity workout yesterday and just LOVE how much I need to push myself! My hubby and I were on the ground at the end haha!

Have you thought about Insanity? Do you have questions about it! Feel free to ask me! :)

  • I am actually doing the exact same thing, Insanity and Chalene Extreme!!! By the end of Insanity I am ready to fall out hahha! Except for some reason, Pure Cardio , maybe because it is shorter, does not make me feel that way! Have you done or seen Insanity Asylum? I really to try it but I am hesitant to spend the money on it.
  • I like Insanity too! I did it once before and am now a few days back into it. It is TOUGH and that's why I like it, I feel so accomplished after (not to mention sore!).

I have thought about it since we have the p90x and p90x plus workout back home, but the reviews said if you have the slightes knee problems you shouldn't buy it and I have read a lot of negative things about injuries. I guess that can happen with every workout.

What do you think about it?
  • I just started Insanity last week ... Shaun T is a lot different than Tony Horton when it comes to motivation. I have done P90x twice now and I am liking Shaun T more. I am still doing the P90x strength stuff at night.
  • They are so different in person, too. Shaun T really takes the time to get to know you and talk with you. Tony, not so much any more. Great guy, but has gotten pretty popular and is more like a celebrity now.

I've done insanity before too and now I'm doing it with a running combination. I think I'm going to alternate between the two. I love the challenge of Insanity not to mention the great toning it does to your body!

It seems like a good workout, but really high impact. However, my thought is working out is great!!!

Doing Asylum at the moment, and so far the impact is not too important, waiting for plyo tomorrow though.
  • I'm really anxious to hear more about what people think os Asylum, maybe I'll do that after another round of Insanity.

Insanity is pretty much the only workout I've seen results in and also the only program I've ever stuck to. I would like to try it again but I might start in Jan and do other cardio and videos as well. I am not as much a fan of asylum but it is still an amazing workout and it's definitely good if you love shaun t but need something different.

done with Back to Core today... waow no cardio on this one except for the long warm up, which is actually stretch and warm up combined (jacks).

But you get the best ever back workout that I tried so far, especially lower back!
I still feel my lower back and lats half an hour after the workout!

    Amazing one!

Insanity 60 day challenge with...... Chris .....something-or-other?

I just completed day 1 today - I think? Day 1 is only the warmup and fitness test, nothing else?

I was expecting at least an hour of intense cardio today haha but I guess I've got another 60 days to look forward to!

    Asylum - Vertical Plyo, done.

Almost puked at times, at least coughed hard, good thing I planned not to eat two hours before the workout.
Plyo is my week spot, so this workout was likely the thoughest for me of all asylum's workouts... I did not try game's day yet, but still .

I could not keep up with the team, and past the 30 minutes mark (the last 6 or 5 minutes of workout) I could barely follow up at half pace.

I will work for sure on that plyo, not giving up not quitting, even if that means a lot of coughing!

    Love the resulting feeling though.

Average Heart Rate of 154 over 42 minutes, for the first time ever my HRM displayed over 170 a couple times!

    A beast!
