Sleep--How many hours do you sleep?

I have noticed as I get older that I sleep less, I used to sleep 9 hours a night. Now I sleep 5 and then I am wide awake. Sometimes I get up as early as 3am. This morning it was 5am. I have also noticed that after 3-4 days of sleeping only 5 hours a night that I will sleep for 10-12 hours. My doctor is not concerned since I feel good and this has been happening for over a year now consistantly. How many hours do you sleep a night?

Weekdays I usually get around 6, weekends I try and get 8.0

about 7hrs most of week, some times I do 5am workouts 2-3 times a week.0

here lately I've been getting 2-5 hours a night. then every once in a while I'll just pass out for 14 hours.0

Anywhere from 5 to 8. As long as you're not exhausted, I think you're fine!0

I range anywhere from 4 hours to 16 hours. Most of the time I would say about 6 or 7 during the week, and 8 or 9 on the weekend.

ranging from 2 hours to 7 hours but for the past 3 weeks its been mainly 2 hours if that. lost count the number of sleepless nights and days.
my dr gave me sleeping tablets but they dont work.
