Good mornimg ladies and happy FRIDAY.

Had a crapy afternoon at work but that did not detur me from hitting the elliptical for 45 minutes at a faster pace than I have been at before. I know I said I was not getting on the scale until Monday after I was done with TOM but the suspence was getting to me so I checked today and the damn thing has not moved still. I know you always gain during TOM but iti is still frustrsting. I even changed up my workout. Any suggestions?

Will not get a workout in this weekend because we are breaking out the dusty Harley and riding all weekend.

I found a link that explains what the couch to 5 K is all about. I am up for starting that challange with you fine bunch of ladies if anyone wants to join me:drinker:

    Great job on the elliptical Smadag!

    Didn't make it to the gym, but did manage to do some big time yard work, and I got to be outside rather in the gym:bigsmile:

    I haven't had a lot of time to look at the Couch to 5K, but I do remember reading somthing a while back. You do not need to pay the $19.95. Somewhere out there is a free version.

    Well I hit the gym again last night which brings me up to 6/30 days of exercise. And even though I ate out for lunch yesterday - I still stayed under my calories with my exercise cals figured in! LOL

    Anyway...wont be hitting the gym tonight as my brother gradutes from college this afternoon, then it's family dinner, and my best friend is passing through tonight so we'll get to be giddy girls and catch up on life. I haven't seen her since the end of January! Can't wait for her to see how much my body has changed since then! :blushing:

    Speaking of changes - I changed my AV again because I'll be wearing the same dress today for the graduation. I'm sure we'll be taking lots of photos and I hope to get a couple good ones to post next to this one, taken almost exactly a year ago. (I can't believe it's been a year since my month in Italy and my own college graduation. Wow - time surely flies by quickly!! :noway:)

    Alrighty ladies, back to work....:grumble: Is it 12:45 yet?? I'm excited to get off work early! And looking forward to a nice relaxing and productive weekend. Supposed to be SUNNY, 87 degrees, and very low humidity this weekend. Ahhh, I love Florida! :tongue:

    i've had a good week foodwise, but not excellent w/ exercise. i'm planning on getting a good one in tonight, and tomorrow...before i go back down to indiana sunday and monday. not sure if my mac will pick up internet so you may or may not be hearing from me :huh:

    i'm hoping to make good choices while i'm gone (hopefully the nerves don't take over and down some fast food! :embarassed: ) wish me luck w/ my monday interview!!

    enjoy the weekend girls! the weather here is supposed to be gorgeous!! :bigsmile: :bigsmile:

    Oh yeah, I forgot to mention in my last post that I'm down 1 lb this week. :bigsmile: That was quite surprising and I'm VERY happy it wasn't a gain! I'm only down 1.4lbs for this challenge, but I FULLY intend on kicking up my exercise and making MUCH healthier food choices in the coming weeks. I'm taking this challenge all the way to June 5th so I can stay motivated for my best friend's wedding!

    Yay for not giving up! And I think you've gotten in the most exercise days that I've seen so far! I'm only at 6...so no worries! :bigsmile: Nerves are good sometimes - keeps ya on your toes. Deep breaths and confidence that you CAN DO IT! :flowerforyou:

    I'm down 1 more pound for this week. Finally under 180! :happy:

    I've found myself starting to fall back into old habits, but at least I've noticed it, so I'm going to try extra hard to avoid all those temptations. I've finished 7/30 days for exercise.

    I am slow posting this morning...been busy. I finished day 7/30 - today will be day 8....yesterday I went to the track and walked/jogged - it was a beautiful 80 breezey day - got a tad pink on my shoulders - it was amazing to enjoy the fresh air! Probably going to do the same thing today since it's so nice outside. Tomorrow afternoon I'll go to the gym and Sunday will be a day off----or so I say....

    scale not moving for me either - but that means it's not going up either....so that's good.

I tried a new workout video and ended up putting strain on my knees so yesterday my stupid muscles were so sore and today they still are! Tomorrow I will get in some good exercise though. We are going to the lake with friends and having a wiffleball game and a kickball game, so that should be fun! I think I'm going to get ready to head outside right now though and take advantage of this beautiful day! Good luck everyone

    Yes and no. I know that is probably part of it, but yesterday I was up at 5am and wasn't able to go to bed til 11:00pm. I think thats part of it too.

    I tried to jog/walk today - it was 87 and the track was even hotter - I finished 45 minutes but I couldn't breathe - it totally drained me so I took about a 15 minute break and went to the gym and went on the elliptical for 20 minutes over all over 500 calories with both....I really have to work on endurance.....

    hiya guys! sorry i don't post very often, it's been a stressful time lately, lotsa trouble in the family... i haven't fallen off the wagon or anything (don't think there's anything in the world that will ever make that happen!:happy:), just not too excited in general... on the other hand, i wish this was just a single thread... i am in Europe so lotsa hours ahead, when i come to MFP in the morning the daily thread isn't started and there is generally nothing going on so I am so bored but nothing to do here... then later in the day i forget to search for the thread and that's how i miss to post all the time... :grumble: can u make it weekly instead of daily, this way i think more people will be posting when they see it bumped up in their "my topics"

    on a happier note i am doing pretty good on the SSS challenge and about 1/3rd lost to my goal of losing 16 pounds, so I have good hope I will make it by the 22nd next month :happy: i won't update the ticker before Wednesday, which is my official weigh-in day... I am guilty enough of stepping too much on the scale, so at least trying to stick to updating it once a week on MFP... ugh!

    I am down for the continues thread; not that anyone will know because I am posting so late! Had a hectic day at work. TGIF.

    Did well today with calories and exercise. I am 7/30 and really proud of myself because this pregnancy stuff is TIRING!!!
