Ok... Just wondering what types of desserts people are making for Thanksgiving tomorrow other than the usual apple or pumpkin pie..

I am making a graham cracker crust no-bake blueberry cheesecake... Not saying its healthy but blueberry pie is my favorite dessert and this year I am making one with a twist!

my SIL sent me the recipe, normal cheesecake with satsuma zest and i replaced the 1/4 cup of milk for 1/4 cup of satsuma juice. voila satsuma orange cheesecake. Its just a hint of citrus, soo delish (from what i could tell licking the beater)

Baklava and substituting the sugar in the recipe with Splenda. Saves about 150 calories per piece!

Yes, it's like a tangerine. Tiny orange like citrus, it's much sweeter and juicier. lol sorry for the confusion!
  • I made a recipe several years ago that my family asked me to make this year too! It's a weight watchers recipe for a Tropical Trifle with angel food cake, vanilla pudding and cool whip, pineapple, mandarin oranges, and coconut... Yummy and very reasonable!
