Anybody else doing this? It starts on Thanksgiving day & goes through January 1. You pledge to run at least a mile a day. Sounds like great motivation to get moving over the holidays!

I love the idea of this. I have a friend that did the year streak of one mile or more a day.

I will have to think about it for me. Supposed to run an easy 3 on thanksgiving then 2 rest days before the half on Sunday. But a couple miles in between? Totally doable, right?

Thanks for sharing this. I love the idea, but I find that running too many "days in a row" is too hard on my body so I only run 3 to 4 days a week...I usually try to do a minimum 1 mile walk on my rest days from running, though, so I think that will be my "streak" :)

I have the hardest time NOT running at least two miles per day - so I TRY to mix in the elliptical and have been heavy into boxing lately. The problem is I run to the gym and back (2 miles each way)...dear god, I'm going to do it though, just to participate and not feel guilty about constantly running :)
  • What a great committment to make for the holidays! Running the mile won't be the challenge for me. My challenge will be getting to the gym in the morning to do it or begging my husband to let me run it outside at night in the dark (and cold!) after the kiddos have gone to bed! Wheww! I guess I better set my alarm ;-)
