I am a very picky eater! Mostly junk food. I just started this week and I am working out 3 days a week. I need some low fat snacks. If someone can give me ideas or tell me where to look that would help. I am eating lots of fruit and veggies.

I like the 100 calorie packs you can find in the store. Also Veggie Chips, air popped popcorn, and organic animal cookies.

Laughing Cow light cheese wedges, Fiber One bars, air pop corn, and sugar free jello pudding cups that you freeze. (They take longer to eat that way!)

Here are a few snacks you can make at home (not on-the-go snacks so much).

Toast half of a whole-wheat muffin, spread some tofutti or another low-fat cream cheese, then top it with cucumber slices. It's 100 calories with tofutti and very satisfying.

My favorite 100-calorie salad consists of 6 romaine lettuce leaves, 1 roma tomato, 1/2 yellow pepper, 1/2 cup cucumber slices, and any of the zero-calorie dressing (else it's pretty darn tastey simply chopped up and tossed).

You can also take the same ingredients (except the dressing and cucumbers, maybe some carrot instead) and toss it into a pot with water, 1tsp ginger, and 1tsp cumin for a veggie curry (splash with lime after cooked). You can also use vegetable broth and there are other low-calorie broths you can explore. Cooked lettuce tastes better than cabbage IMO and as with both .. be careful about overcooking them. This is also about 100 calories, maybe a bit more depending on what you do to your broth or what kind you use.

Aldi's has a fit and active brand that has a lot of healthy choices in the snack section. You can find popcorn, flavored mini rice cakes, yogurt, but my favorite is the fit and active fudge bar found in the freezer section. It only has 100 calories and 5 grams of fiber and really satisfies if you love chocolate like me!
