I would like to start body building one day after I reach my ultimate goal. All I want is an athletic type build with some muscle definition. Any tips on how I can get started?

Me and my bro had a friend that used to be little. we're both big guys and we just made our friend lift what we lifted. he did negatives and took creatine is all, and he got really beefy.

I would suggest finding a good workout partner and doing negatives.
  • hey, how you getting on? ive just turned one of our bedrooms into a gym and started on creatine! im 10 st 5 - aiming to consume around 4000 cals a day!

I power lifted in high school and college. I ended up using a lot of different supplements and things prescribed by my nutritionist, most of which I don't remember now. A lot of them didn't have that much of an effect on me, but that is just me and my own personal experience. Based on that experience, my suggestion to you would be to start small: add one new thing into your regime for a few weeks, assess the results, and then move on. If nothing else it'll help you weed out the things that don't really work for you and maybe save you a little money. Good luck to you!

Personally, I don't think supplements are necessary. Maybe a protein shake if you're having trouble getting your protein in through your meals. Other than that, train properly (that varies from person to person), get your sleep, get your rest and don't overtrain, and eat lots of good quality food.
