Ok all my wonderful MFP peeps I need some encouragement! I have had a terrible week, did not log even though my food was not too bad I feel as if I have lost my momentum! I did great yesterday with the thanksgiving meal since I didn't eat anything I stayed in my room all day! I hate thanksgiving ( bad things have happened the past 3) and I think that is what has made this a bad week. I know i need to get back to logging and back to the gym, I just need to get motivated!
Thank you all!!:flowerforyou:

It's okay to have a bad week! Just remember that it's just one week and it doesn't mean anything is over!
Take everything day by day. Today is a new day, and the shortcomings of last week don't even matter now! Just look forward and think of how you can improve right now and today!
You can do it0 -
I am sorry to hear you are having a bad week. Keep the faith and remember your reasons for being here. Take it one day/hour/minute/second at a time and stay strong.0

We all have bad weeks and ups and downs. It isn`t easy. Trust me! I understand ! I have been on this weight loss journey for almost a year now and there have been plenty of bumps in the road. The one thing I have learned is that nothing good in life is easy. So you had a terrible week ! It is what you do about it today that counts. Start logging your food again....start holding yourself accountable. Motivation isn`t always easy. I pep talk myself all the time...I remind myself why I am doing this....I take out pictures of me when I was bigger and remind myself why am doing this.... when I exercise now and I am able to complete the DVD I feel empowered Don`t ever give up. Get back on the wagon and do one day at a time ! You GOT THIS!!!! You CAN do this !!!0

I agree take it day by day. We all have those things that get us down. But if you think about it over eating never makes us feel better and just add fuel to the fire so to speak, Try and keep positive and remember day by day. Slow and steady wins the race. :0

Bad weeks suck. Take care, get past this moment in time, and try to build from the moment the effect of the holiday begins to fade. Hang in there and we'll support you all the way.0

Yup, focus on now and future! They are all where you can affect and make them best for you. Take the bad week as part of the learning journey we have there; What can you do to make it NOT happen again? How you can change the pattern next time when you find similar triggers happen? What REALLY can help instead of food in those challenging situations?
Good luck!!!0 -
Today is a new day and you can do this! Anytime I need a little extra motivation I go to the success stories message boards and look for posts with pictures. Those are so motivating to me and help me to see what I'm working towards, even though it's not picutres of me...they are SOOOO motivating for me. They make me super motivated so I can get to a point where I have before and after pictures! Good luck to you and remember everyone has a bad week!0
