Ok for all of you who when out shopping come on, give it up......what horror / funny story do you have to share? Even if you didn't go shopping this year, you can share a story from a previous time ya'll ventured out.:happy:

    I worked in retail for 25 years....the friday and saturday after Thanksgiving I stay home! Those people are vicious! :noway:

    I was at Walmart even though I swore a few years ago tha tI would never go out again. Grabbed a few deals and somehow made it out of there faster than I do on a regular day. Tons of people and what almost sounded like thunder when 10 hit and everybody could grab their targets.

    I didn't buy a single thing. Nothing I saw was worth the insane lines at the department stores (which were busier than normal at 4AM because of other places opening earlier). I got my free snowglobe from JC Penney and nothing else.

    The oddest thing was around 5AM, both Target and Walmart were DEAD. I guess with them opening at 10, people swarmed and then left. Made me think of locusts for some reason. I braced myself for Walmart but it was empty.

    I worked it, at walmart. A guy got punched for a waffle maker and a kid got drug out of a mess by the lip, the cop decided he needed to step back and he kept shaking him off. the kid (like 16) jumped the line for the xbox bundle with no ticket. Oh an 10 very angry customers due to a 40in plasma miscount. not a bad year
