I'm a 25 yr female who won't disclose her weight just yet because of how embarrassed I am with myself and my looks. I have anxiety and depression and seeking help with that along with my not low but no self worth. I think that me losing these pounds that I have gained will make me feel better. I don't want to blame the weight on the hysterectomy I had or even any of the depression pills I take. I just want to be normal, fun, and healthier! And I hope that maybe hearing the stories you guys will share and maybe the tips I might get down the road will push me to be that once pretty girl I know is inside me.

WickedlyEcho: Welcome! I am pretty new, been on here for about a week. Monday is my first weigh in! And i feel confident the scale will move a little bit! But if you are here, then you have taken the first step to becoming healthier!
I was just like you, I didn't want to disclose my weight, it was embarassing! But write it down, just for you and post it somewhere you are goig to see it! Post it EVERYWHERE! I did that at first because seeing the number(which I hated so much) made me more motivated to see it go down! Take small steps, don't try to change everything all at once. Start with a few mins of working out, then increase. Same with food, start with cutting out one of your most addicting and favorite foods one at a time. For me the first thing to go was Pop. I lived on Coke and could drink a 2 liter a day! I slowly cut it out, NOT ALL AT ONCE, but finally got it out of my life and I don't miss it!! Small steps! You can do this! You can make the small changes you need!! GOOD LUCK!
Feel free to friend me if you would like!!
