In most medications, the active and inert ingredients only add a trivial amount of calories unless it has real sugar or alcohol in it.

If you Google the specific name of your medication and "calories per dose," you should be able to find out approximately how many calories the medication is adding to your diet. Then you can decide whether you need to count them or not. You're consuming them, so it really doesn't matter whether you log them or not -- your body knows how many calories you're consuming. However, since it's probably a negligible amount, and since it's only for a short period, and since you need this right now for your health, I probably wouldn't worry about it too much. Just eat healthy foods within your calorie range and call it good.
  • thereare 170 calories in a liter. so thats about 10 per dosage.

So you're looking at 40 calories per day. Not a make-or-break amount. Don't stress over it.
