well followin a low calorie diet should help you lose weight however, personally i'd recommend healthier food choices. Along with more than only 10 minutes of exercise. You should get a minum of 20 minutes a day of cardio.

You can eat lots of veggies and they are low calorie (very nutrient dense).

I would starve without more protein.
  • Hi, Im new here too. a week i guess, so I am asking a lot of questions too. I do have to agree tho about the protien and fruit & veggie intake. I know I should do more about that myself, and I am trying. :) Maybe we can help eachother out here? I requested you as a freind. Hope you accept. :)

So I'm curious... How do you "maintain" weight on 1400 calories a day? Unless you are so lazy, you don't get off the couch ALL day....Most people need 1700- 2500 calories to maintain.

If you are going to eat so sparsely, then maybe better food choices would be appropriate. Like higher in protein, complex carbs.
You may want to eat lean meats, nuts and whole milk products and definitely more veggies.
