I'd like to make new friends who can motivate me, to go from 9 minutes(4 kilometers) on the bicycle to 30 minutes on it. I have been on a diet for about 6 days now, and I lost during that time, without eating anything white, I weighed myself and I lost four kilos. It just shows how much you care of yourself. Also I eat three times daily, but very healthy foods. I sometimes eat chease when my calories are lower then normal. My calory intake says I'll go from 81.4- 72 kilos in about five weeks. Got any ideas how I can improve walking distance in my life. Also I'd like to know what foods you all ignore during your stay on myfitnesspal(dot)com

Welcome and good luck! So... my first thought for you is don't think diet - try and think healthy lifestyle change instead :) Diets are usually a temporary mindset and will eventually end... Hope that makes sense. You're off to a great start - good for you! Log everything you eat and as far as increasing your walk/bike time - it's all about pushing yourself just that much further - a little each time. Give yourself 2 weeks or so and set little goals and pretty soon you'll be able to walk, run and bike further - it's a great feeling. Sometimes I take a walk at lunch at work. Maybe add in a mid morning and afternoon snack to your daily food intake.. Cheese is protein but I like the reduced fat sticks to make sure I'm not adding fat. You can do this... Read some of the success stories on here as well as there is a lot of good advice... Here's to success!

A big hello back to you, this is a great site ,i love it your friends are so supportive which helps. Keeping track of your foods and exercise is great . I have heard of the diet that says stay off white foods seems like it is working for you. It is so hard as i am sure that all of us here love all the bad foods, retraining our brain to stay away from them is very hard, I find not to have tempting foods in the house other wise i cannot resist them. Exercise is very important its great for the mind as well , Walking is cheap if you have a good place to walk, baby steps is what we all need, Also try and drink plenty of water i know that it is hard but sometimes we are thirsty not hungry, Good luck on your weight loss journey......Suzie.
  • hello and you can do anything if you put your mind to it with a little help from friends too good luck
