Low sugar cake? - please share

Hello,

A few months ago, my grandad was diagnosed with diabetes. Where he has done a great job of cutting sugars from his diet (and consequently lost a good stone) he has confessed to me that he does miss eating things like cake. So, I thought I would appeal to you, MFP members - are there any cake recipes that would be suitable for me to bake for my grandad (i.e. are of a lower sugar content than regular cake)? Thank you in advance!

*P.S. if you could send me the nutritional info. with the recipe, that would be extra wonderful.

    Try diabeticgourmet.com which has lots of low sugar/diabetic friendly recipe's of all flavor of cakes. Nutritional information is provided. I'm sure you will find a cake he would like and it is very kind of you to think of him and bake him something special!

    Diet soda cake. One can diet soda, one box cake mix, no other ingredients. Bake as directed.
    Diet cola for chocolate cake. Diet sprite for white cake.
