Exercise and calorie intake...

Ok, so, I am a little bit miffed. I was exercising and sticking to my calories and weight was not shifting, so, I am still exercising and eating back those calories and weight is still not shifting. What can I do to move some weight?????? I feel fitter but do not like the lack of movement in the scales. :huh:

Have you added weights?
Also, I know it's hard to accept, but sometimes things are changing, even when the scale is not. The best example of that I have found is here:

omg I FEEL YOUR PAIN. I lost 3.5 stone on slimming world and I hit a wall and gained a stone back, then 5 weeks ago I gave myself 2months to lose weight with MFP ready for christmas parties etc and I got a personal trainer and been working out 5hours a week and I havent LOST A SINGLE POUND! If you get to the bottom of this please help me! xxx0

Perhaps you're just holding a bit of water or gaining muscle... or both. Stick with it0

Have you tried measuring yourself? I know what you mean about the weight not shifting. My weight has not shifted for quite some time. I plan to see the doctor to rule out any medical issues such as thyroid, etc.
You may also have to "schock' your body by doing different exercises. I just now completed the 30-Day Shred by Jillian Micheals. The workouts are awesome. I plan to do another 30 days of JM workout. Though I did not loose any weight, I did loose inches. I follow this workout with cardio and strength training.

Thanks for the responses. I think I am going to change my diet and go back to basics- i.e. fruit, veg, meats and not eat back my exercise calories for a week and see how it goes. I can see changes in my face but struggling with anything else.
At the moment my exercise routine is:
Saturday: Gym Routine consisting of cardio (inc 25mins of interval running at 8.5mph and walking at 6.0 mph) and strengthening machines 9.30am
Monday: Gym Routine consisting of cardio and strengthening machines 6pm
Wednesday: Body Conditioning 6pm + Spinning class afterwards
Friday: Gym Routine consisting of cardio and strengthening machines 6pm (this session tends to be hit and miss depending how my body feels)0 -
Same is happening to me! its frustrating.. I still haven't decided what I'm going to do...0

You may want to open your diary. go to Settings > Diary Settings > Diary Sharing and change it to Public. It could be that you are not eating enough. You also may want to try something like 30 Day Shred. That has tended to help others lose weight and inches fairly quickly. Search for it and you'll find lots of threads on MFP.0
