How to stay motivated on a horrible day

Hi everyone,

I've got one of those days today... you know: when you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, you hit your head in the morning, burn your toast, and just NOTHING seems to be going your way. Lack of sleep and just a ****ty feeling...

So what I usually do on those days is give in. Eat lots of candy, or even dig a teaspoon in a Nutella jar. Just because I feel sorry for myself.
BUT... I want today to be different. I already had 3 mentos, but am planning on not giving in to my cravings any more today. But how?! Does someone out here have any good tips on how to stay motivated on a day you just want to cuddle up on the couch with your doona and eat m&m's?

    Exercise!
    Force yourself out the door - although it's hard, I find it always lifts my mood.

    Get on mfp and look at success post.
  • force yourself to excercise, then when you're finished, you most likely wont want to undo your hard work with junk food, but if you do have a little at least you've earned extra calories and haven't put on weight :)

    Look at the world, become the monster, and scream "BRING ON TODAY I AM SO READY FOR YOU!!!" Trust me, screaming helps haha :)
