I just did the same thing on junk. I am just going to start over tomorrow with eating healthy and trying to stay on my calorie goal. I feel badly about it but it happened and there is not hing I can do to change it so I am trying to just live and learn and do better tomorrow. Good luck....0

did you eat more calories than you have? I say if you still have calories left over (you ate your exercise cals) then you're fine0

Start over the next day
The last two days were horrible for me with Thanksgiving, and today I got back on track!

Yeah I still have 94 calories left. Thanks for helping me look on the bright side.0 -
what works for me is logging in everything that i put in my mouth. everything counts. and if i see that i am over my goals, i exersize more until i'm in the green. I am at allowed 2100 i try to eat around 1600 and i do 1.5 hrs of exersize a day.0

In the past, when I'd try to make up for something the next day, I ended up doing worse... I'd end up feeling overwhelmed, and it led to such discouragement. I think your day is okay. You probably don't want to eat like that every day, but don't give it too much power. Just make tomorrow a little more balanced, nutritionally.0

i did the same thing so im going to cut calories and exercise to make up for today, not even sure if the body works that way but its worth the try. but anyways dont give up, at least you're aware of it and just do better tomorrow. you can do it!0

I agree with everyone else, we all are going to have bad days. It’s important to start tomorrow as a new day. Old habits are hard to break, and it will take a lot of mental thought. Hang in there!!0

You are doing exactly what MFP wants you to do, eat your exercise calories. Nothing wrong with that, it is called doing the program the way it is designed. If you consistently don't eat those calories you exercise off you calorie deficit will get large enough that you will find yourself struggling to lose weight. Good job. Stop feeling like you did something wrong.
To everyone else, if her logging is accurate this was not a bad day. It is not a do better tomorrow day. This is an almost perfect day in terms of calories.0 -
oh wow! I'm glad you posted that is some great info! I didn't know that!
Thank you Riley!:flowerforyou:0
