What is everyone's goal weight? Originally I didn't take the site seriously and just put "280", surpassed it, and changed it to "140". I realize now that I would look like I had cancer or something because I'm TALL. I'm 5'9 and if I was 140 I would look sickly. The trainer at the gym said I should be about 180, but I'm just not sure what is a good goal weight.
What are some of your guys' goals? Have you surpassed your first goal?

I started out wanting to lose 12lbs. I did that and so far I've lost 31lbs, my goal is 135lbs, I'm 5' 6" but really I'm just so happy to be under 10 stone for the first time in my adult life, if I can just stay under 140 I'll be happy.0

i started at 251, and had an unrealistic goal of dropping down to 200. i'm tall too, so i would look emaciated. i'm down to about 221 now, and starting to focus on body fat percentage, and more strength training. i've noticed some inches lost in only a month of lifting.0

My goal is 170-175,
I 5'81/2"
I have been around 187-190 for about 3 months now0 -
120! At 5'2" it is a healthy goal.0

150-160. I am 5 foot 6 but very muscular. When I was in high school I was 150 and looked thin so I know after having built more muscle I will look great around 1600

I am 5'9 and my goal is 120 to 130. but I really am aiming at being fit then being thin. My doc says that my goal weight is okay but not to be to hard on my self if I cant get there. Healthy is better then thin0

I am 5'8 and my goal is 160 bc that is listed as my highest for healthy weight so that is what i am aiming for.0

Hey hey! My goal is 70kg which is about 154lb. I am 5ft10 and that is a comfy size for me to be! I was 147lb for a while when I was younger but it wasn't maintainable! I have small bones so 150 is fine for me! The best thing you can do is think about what you will be happy with and what you can stick to! You also need to think about what excercise you will be doing! I may never reach my goal weight becasue I workout but if I get to the measurements I want then I couldn't care less how much I weigh!!0

I'm 5'4" and started at 136 and have lost almost 4lbs so far. Hoping to get to 125 by New Years and then lose an extra 2lbs a month until I'm down to 120.0

I'm 5'3" and currently 130, I've already lost about 25 lbs and want to lose another 15 to get to 115 lbs. I'm pretty muscular though so I'll see how I feel when I hit 120. But I'm pretty sure 115 will be perfect for me.0

I'm 5'2" and currently at 210. At my heaviest I was around 220-225. My goal is the upper limit of my BMI, which is around 140-145. I think I would be happy if I hit 150-160. A lot of people would not guess that I weigh so much, so I am thinking that 140-145 might be too thin or I might be unable to maintain it. As others have said I just want to be healthy. If at all possible, I don't want to have all the ailments that come along with being overweight/obese.0

I'm peanut sized 4'7" therefore 106 is realistic...JUST GOT TO GET THERE.0

Current goal is 174 to take me own to a healthy bmi f I'm happy there I'll stop if nt I'll change goal remember it's not set in stone0

I'm 5'3 I'm at a good weight right know (120.5lbs) but I'd really like to be between 118-1190

I am 5'4" and my first goal is 160, then I might go for 130 depending on how I feel with my body at 160.0

I am 5'9 and my goal is 185 - I do not want to look like a skeleton (especially in my face), and as I am doing pretty intense weight workouts at the gym I am reasonably "muscle heavy".....when I get there I plan to maintain for at least 6 months, and then decide if I have to drp another 5 or 10lbs....0

I'm 5 foot 7 and I've got 140 pencilled in. That makes me right in the middle of a healthy BMI so that was my original goal. However...I want to do the Warrior Dash so will need a bit more strength, muscle weighs more so I'll see how I go. I definitely don't want to be lugging any unnecessary fat around that course, but extra muscle would be great! :-) Well done on your progress so far, when you get near to goal you'll be able to decide for yourself (I also end up with skinny hands/face/feet before the bum and legs are doing ok ;-) this kind of thing can help you make your mind up!)0

I think it's individual, depending on how/where one carries their weight, how large boned/muscular they are, etc. I am the same height (5' 9") and my goal weight is 137; however, I don't look "skinny" until I get down to 120-125.0
-
I'm 5'4" and my first goal is 180. 140 would put me in my healthy weight range but the last time I was that low I was stupidly skinny so don't think that's a good one for me. Probably aim for around 150-160 and see how I feel once I get there.0

My goal is 140.0
