easy to changing a laptop screen?

hey, i recently cracked my laptop screen. I was looking online and found some great prices on screens and it would be a heck of alot cheaper than having to send it away to get fixed. I was looking on line and it doesnt look that difficult to replace the screens yourself. i was just wondering if anyone here has done it before and could offer some advice?

    I did it, it worked great and it was the first time I ever did anything like that. I found a video on youtube and followed that x

    saved me almost £200 and possibly a new laptop, I am using the one I repaired now
