I bought some gouda cheese at the grocery store the other day and have no idea what to do with it... Anyone have any tasty recipes they'd care to share? :flowerforyou:

I melt a slice of it on a large grilled portabella cap. Add some wasabi aioli on a toasted ciabatta roll, and you have a great sandwich!

Gouda is very similar to cheddar, so anything you'd do with cheddar, you can do with gouda. It goes well with beer :)

Gouda is similar to Edam and Swiss cheeses. It is a great melting cheese, and has a lovely slightly nutty taste when eat alone or with crackers or bread. Try it with omlettes and egg dishes, gratins, pasta bakes, cheese toasties / focaccias / cheese on toast / welsh rarebit...
