I bought some gouda cheese at the grocery store the other day and have no idea what to do with it... Anyone have any tasty recipes they'd care to share? :flowerforyou:

Yes! Exactly this!0 -
I melt a slice of it on a large grilled portabella cap. Add some wasabi aioli on a toasted ciabatta roll, and you have a great sandwich!0

Gouda is very similar to cheddar, so anything you'd do with cheddar, you can do with gouda. It goes well with beer0

Gouda is similar to Edam and Swiss cheeses. It is a great melting cheese, and has a lovely slightly nutty taste when eat alone or with crackers or bread. Try it with omlettes and egg dishes, gratins, pasta bakes, cheese toasties / focaccias / cheese on toast / welsh rarebit...0
