when your body thinks there's no weight left to lose?

What do you do when your body will not let you lose any weight without dropping your intake dangerously low? I'm so fed up and just want to lose like 10 more lbs but it's nearly impossible. I'm 5'6" and weigh 126.8lbs. I'd like to be 117 because that is where I feel happy. I've been steadily gaining weight the past 2 or 3 weeks from 122 to now nearly 127!! I am just so frustrated!!

you are only one inch shorter than I am and the weight you want to reach is underweight in my BMI range...and looking at your pictures you almost look like you are already unhealthy skinny...when you can start seeing ribs, that's not a good sign!! Maybe you should start doing some weight training and build up some lean muscles...you might gain weight, but you will look great!!!0

Have you gone to see your doctor? If you're really worried you should see a doctor or even go see a personal trainer, even if it's just to have an assessment or your weight/health.0

Maybe don't get too stuck on the numbers. If you're feel kind of flabby you can add strength training/lifting to your routine. It should tighten things up.0

you are too young to be so worried - you are beautiful just the way you are...0

Have you tried looking into weights instead of cardio?
It may not be what you're looking for, but theres a few examples floating around of womens before/after where they weigh 10-20lbs MORE, but have more muscle, therefore look thinner/more toned and better then they did at a lower weight.
I don't feel numbers are as important as how you actually look in the mirror.

I agree with this. According to the height/weight charts I have found on the internet, you are already within your healthy range. 117 would make you underweight. If you have to do something dangerous to continue losing weight, then it is time to stop losing weight. If you can't do this, then you are going to need to talk to your doctor, and possibly a clinical psychologist.
I also agree with the suggestions to focus on strength training. I saw your two pics on your profile. You have done a great job losing, but it is time to adjust your fitness goals for something else. Best of luck to you! I really hope that you found this useful and that you take care of your body.0 -
You are to the point where you need to STEP AWAY FROM THE SCALE, and pick up a tape measure.
Meet Staci- she looks better and is smaller at a HEAVIER weight because she's full of nice muscle instead of flabby fat. The scale is NOT the end all be all.
