i completely forgot that I had these vitamins..
there is one bottle for iron and another for vitamin c.

just wondering, is it bad to consume them past their used by date? or does it not matter? will they still give me the benefits or should i just go out and buy new ones?
(the used by dates are only october btw)

some vitamins will oxidise over time, i.e. degrade, and some apparently can go rancid. so yes they'd be less effective.

Usually the dates on them are best before rather than expiry but they only become less effective not poisonous!

it can also relate to how likely it is that bacteria has got in there and started growing

october, no worries, a year or two out of date and I'd chuck em
