Do you just log it as an aerobic activity? How many calories does it typically burn?

20mins circuit training does it for me. I also know others that log it as this x

I log it as a circuit workout. According to my HRM- I burn on average 200-250 while doing the shred. (Only on Day 5, Level 1)

The best thing to do for circuit training/aerobic activity is to purchase a heart rate monitor (HRM) with chest strap that calculates your calorie burn.

I also log it as circuit training...I get about a 200ish burn from that. It depends on your size the bigger you are the more calories you burn. For instance mine is 282 and my sister (who is much smaller) only burns 175.

I purchased a heart rate monitor after asking myself the same question and now I use it for every form of exercise!

I was burning about 100 calories more than I thought i was.

I totally recommend you invest in a heart rate monitor - that way you know EXACTLY how many calories you burn and you can log precisely. I have a Polar FT4 which I bought via www.amazon.co.uk - approximately £50 (can't remember exact sum). Not cheap but totally worth it!

For now though, as a tip I was burning between 250-300 calories at levels 1 and 2 of the 30DS lasting approximately 20-25 mins.

It depends on how you want to log it! I actually created a new exercise for myself that way I could go to My Workouts and easily pick it out every time I do the video. I used to guesstimate 150, but with an HRM I can burn as much as 300 depending on how intense I'm choosing to workout. If you don't have one I think it's always safer to under-guesstimate that way you are putting in a calorie burn, but you can be reassured you aren't over guessing and possibly feeling comfortable eating more. Hope that helps a bit!

Probably just circuit training. That's how I put in in all my strength training sessions.
