Freeing meals

Does anyone do batches of meals and freeze? I mean for the weight loss journey. I am thinking of doing it. I have been willing to follow a diet that was given to me by a dietitian but every time I start it, I do it for like 5 days and then I stop coz of stupid reasons like I reach home from work for lunch and then I dont have my lunch meal so I eat what I have which is stupid. I am thinking of cooking and storing in aluminum plates and take out a day before for lunch.

Anyone does that? Mind to share other tips?

I am considering doing this as well. I recently bought ziploc steamer bags and bought a bunch of veggies to steam. I'm going to cut them up and portion them out tonight. And just put them in the bags to take to work. Apparently they cook chicken, omelets, etc. :)

I kind of do this, but not for lunches and what not because I rarely take a lunch so I just warm up a lean cuisine or smart ones here at work. I do it for dinner meals somewhat though. My husband does the grocery shopping on Sundays, I plan all of our dinner meals weekly, so when he gets home I will cut up chicken and bag it, seperate bag for sliced bell pepper and onions (fajitas) that way I can just dump it in a pan after work to speed up dinner prep time, but I can tell you that when you already have your meals prepared and ready to heat that it helps keep you from thinking that McDonalds is easier and quicker, because you've already put in the work. Of course not all meals work out that well, but then you can work around that too if you plan ahead. I make the quickest/easiest meals on busy nights, tougher meals are done on the weekends. It really helps us stay on track.
