Sit ups NSV. Yesssss!

7 months ago I was exhausted from doing 10 sit ups, and I'd stop from being out of breath.
Today I can do 120 sit ups! What a difference...

That's great! I clicked on this thread because I can only do about 15 at a time, for only a few sets. I needed a little dose of inspiration in the abs department.0

I did 20 situps with 2 eight pound weights. One in each hand. I used to never be able to do those either lol.0

I have not actually counted how many I can do. My stretching routine from a few months ago consisted of a number of sit ups (until I was bored with it). I'd use 3kg (6.6lb) weights to counter. A while ago I tried 25 - face up, with my back over the end of the bed, 90 degrees down then 90+ degress up (my wife holding my ankles so I dont fall off lol). Apparantly I am not supposed to do that - nearly got a umbilical herniation (whatever it is called) - had to stop sit ups for 6 weeks !.
Not bragging, if anything I'm jealous hahaha. I should try counting them one day (and use MP3 player to fight boredom).
As for pushups ... I'll get there one day.0 -
I think i might try that www.twohundredsitups.com website mentioned below. It looks legit and its more crunches than situps. Anything to get rid of this belly fat!0

120 is awesome keep it up girl:) It's funny, but I have had a similar experience. I have a friend who has a mean natural sixpack. We were working out and I took him through my Hybrid ab workout (p90x and insanity ab workout combo). He couldn't finish it. It felt great to see that my, not fully visible abs, were stronger than his. I try to use that to motivate him to workout more haha.0
