Ice Cream Weakness

Hey everyone! So I have a teeny problem...I love ice cream way too much for my own good! I try to portion it and everything but I still feel so guilty after eating it because I really know I shouldn't be. Anyway, so my question is for all my fellow ice cream lovers out there...anyone know of a good tasting ice cream that's low in calories and fat?..yes, I know that sounds ridiculous, but I figure anything is possible these days! Thanks *btw feel free to add me if you'd like!

skinny cow is wonderful. There is Weight Watchers ice cream also. They are both delicious.0

I love icecream too!! So yummy! I usually go for skinny cow icecreams or frozen yogurt. I LOVE LOVE frozen yogurt because it tastes just like ice cream but is so healthy. I add fresh fruit toppings so it makes it a very tasty, healthy snack.0

dont feel guilty, if you add your calories you can eat whatever you want. i just had a 90cal fiber one brownie with milk. brownies are my weakness and they taste good enough. if you get the dreyers it is pretty good. not that into icecream though.0

I'm a huge fan of ice cream...anything sweet to be honest. I usually buy frozen yogurt over ice cream, also weight watchers makes ice cream bars that are delicious.0

Walmart has a vanilla frozen yogurt that's fat free and only 90 calories for a half of a cup in the Great Value brand. I thought it was really good, especially with a little bit of sugar free chocolate syrup on the top

Try either Skinny Cow or Weight Watchers Ice cream sandwiches (both are 140 calories & 1.5 gms fat). I also haave an ice cream weakness & it's part of my daily calorie intake.0

oh my god, i am SUCH an ice cream junkie!!! i have recently discovered skinny cow thanks to an MFP buddy and I AM IN HEAVEN! i tastes delicious and it's already in single portions which is a BIG deal for me (i'm terrible about measuring portions). i'm currently addicted to the chocolate truffle bars which are only 100 cals each. not sure about the fat content but i know it's reasonable :-)0

I try not to keep ice cream in the house, because I find it so tempting. I have found that Lindy's gelato helps satisfy the craving. It is portioned out and therefore I usually just eat the one and call it quits. Blue Bunny frozen yogurt is also very tasty and has "helping" enzymes.0

Try Turkey Hill light. They got some great flavors.0

In my world, it's ok to have small (SMALL) amounts of the foods you love, even the "not so healthy" ones. Haagen Dazs makes a natural ice cream line called "Five"--each flavor has 5 ingredients or less, and all natural...and they still taste yummy.0

I too am a *kitten* for ice cream! I love it and at some point will likely have to give it up if I hit a plateau. But for now I usually indulge 4 or 5 times a week in the evening before bed. Bad I know, but dammit I love it! I gave up coffee creamer so I could have ice cream! My favorite is Dryers Slow churned. Most flavors are between 100-130 cals for a half cup. It is the best tasting one I have found, and i have tried them all! Hope you find one you like...I feel like it is not a diet if I can still have ice cream if I want to!0

Arctic Zero is my hero! Check online and see if you can get it where you live. I get it at Whole Foods. 150 calories for the entire pint!0

I'm glad you asked this because I had to walk away from the ice cream section at the supermarket today to avoid buying some! I'm going to try the skinny cow and see how it is0

I eat Bryer's Fat Free ice cream ALL the time! Haha. It's the best and only 90 cals per serving!0

I too was an ice cream addict lol Now I eat the odd ice cream - I just measure it to the one serving.
OR
I eat DElmonte vanilla frozen yogurt with mixed berries - super delicious!!! and I don't feel too bad if I splurge and have 2 servings0 -
I used to have a huge ice cream problem. Big bowl almost every night (usually with sprinkles- I'm a kid at heart LOL). I figured it would be annoying having to weigh/portion out ice cream out of a carton, so I keep Weight Watchers ice cream bars in the freezer almost at all times. The cookies & cream version (ice cream covered in chocolate cookie crumbs) is 130 calories for the bar. I save enough calories to eat one almost every night. There are also other brands and types of bars that vary a bit in the calorie count (I found a Target brand that's a bit smaller for I think 90-100 calories each, and then some Klondike bars that are around 170) - anyway the bars are easy portion control and thus easy to plan so that you can still fit it into your day. :-)0

skinny cow bars are the best. its like 140 for a huge chocolate sandwhich and the thing about theres is that its pre sized so its either get two servings or one its not get one and another spoonful and another spoon ful. also try fat free sherbert.0

That is pretty much my one vice, but I don't eat it very often. That is one of my treats when I feel like having a cheat day. I just log the calories and go on about my evening when I do eat it.0

this thread reminded me that I had a pint of black raspberry chocolate chip ice cream in my freezer that I bought on a whim and had one serving...and I haven't had any in weeks. Yay me! lol0
