Should you exercise before or after eating?
Or doesn't really matter?
Thanks!

protein goes after but i dont think the rest really matters0

If i eat before I need to let it settle for an hour or more so I only tend to do that at breakfast. Reason being I don't like the idea of working out on a stomach that has been empty for 10-12 hours. All other times of the day I eat after... not sure if that's the right way to do things but it works fine for me lol0

I eat before and after0

I like to eat 20-60minutes prior to exersize, then after I have a protien shake.0

I was always told to exercise either one hour before eating or two hours after (a meal), not a snack.0

It depends. Some times I can do before but most times I exercise at 9a & 6p, so I eat about an hour before each (5 meals a day).0

If you decide to exercise after a meal you need to give yourself at least an hour to let the stomach settle. If you decide to exercise before a meal you may need to add a small snack, such as an apple, to give yourself a little bit of energy before you exercise. Either is fine, and there's really not a perfect time, before or after the meal to exercise, it's just important that you do the exercise.0

My trainer insists on both. Not a lot. 100 cals or so.0

And exercise right afterwards? I barely have time in the morning to wait for my stomach to settle for an hour. But if I exercise with no breakfast, there is just no oomph to my workout.0
