I think it's really simple once you wrap your head around it. Puts you in a bit more control of your daily deficit by making it easier to see.

Calculate your BMR, located under tools.
Set your goal on MFP to maintain, though that's not the actual goal.

The goals are to:
Eat more than your BMR. ("Totals")
Not create a deficit greater than 1000 calories. ("Remaining")

I think it's great, for me personally, it's easier to track.

    im really thinking about trying it - but not sure if i want to mess with my numbers right now... maybe if im still stuck at the same weight for another week or two.
