I'm a 37 yo mum of two girls. I've gained a lot of weight in the last year due to medications and hypothyroid (which was also caused by meds!). I was always very athletic, and being 30kgs heavier is very alien to me! It's hard to watch your own daughter wear clothes that you bought for yourself (she is 11, btw!).

So, looking for some friends to keep my motivation up there. I've worked hard on my mental health, now it's time for the physical! :)

    Welcome from another aussie. though i have always been big... and at times bigger. :)

    And have never understood, that when i wore clothes smaller. ..though i have worn clothes smaller. :)..

    As i have truly never ever been small :)

    But point is, your welcome to add me.. Im nuts, personal friends say i am, and im sure after some of my posts, so do some of my mfp family :)

    But i will do my best to keep you going... :)

    Im 30kg too heavy , I have lived on the mid North Coast and my Mum and dad still do.

    Hi i am from Perth Western Australia ...have been on mfp for 35 days have lost 9lbs...so far but only get weighed every 3 weeks at the doctors ...so could be less ...lol !
