Holiday French Toast

I have been experimenting (insert failing miserably) to make a holiday flavored french toast. i want either an egg nog or peppermint french toast but have no been very successful in making something low calorie and tasty. any ideas would be appreciated greatly!

    Oh yummmm.... don't have any low calorie ideas, but would love to see some! Egg Nog French Toast sounds devine!

    Can't help too much with either of those flavors but try using almond milk and nutmeg. It's a huge holiday hit in my house.

    I actually just made egg nog french toast on Sunday. It's really not awful. I used about 3/4 cup of egg nog and made 6 pieces. The egg nog would have been about 330 calories; bread was 100 calories per slice ... so 155 calories per slice.

    You could do this ^^ with the light version of egg nogg to make it lower calorie. I also love using pumpkin pie spice in the milk for our french toast, a big hit in our family at this time of year.
