Work out DVD's! There are so many excellent ones out there and they are not that expensive. You can pick up used ones on Amazon or Ebay. I love Jillian Michaels, Leslie Sansone and Chris Freytag DVD's. So work the investment. Also if you have Xfinity On Demand they have work outs that you can download for free from Exercise TV.

Get a gym pass? Or another great cardio exercise is jump rope....I know it seems like boxers only jump rope nowadays but Its really great cardio, takes a little practice to learn if you never have before though0

It's not too cold to go outside if you dress correctly:) I personally enjoy snowshoeing during the winter months and know several people who are into skiing (cross country and/or downhill). If the weather is exceptionally poor or cold there are always the back-up plan workout DVDs!0

I agree with the workout dvds sugestion; however, I have to say I'm planning on gearing up and running outside every once in a while, because I find those dvds quite boring (they're very effective, though!)
Where are you? Does it get too cold?
Good luck!

It's in the low 30s here today and I'm still heading outside to run later this afternoon. Just put on some extra layers and take them off as you get warmer. The only time I won't go outside to exercise is when the wind chill is below zero. Can't be walking around town with black skin from frostbite.
However, I do enjoy Jillian Michaels workouts because the majority of them are less than a half an hour and really kick your butt in both cardio & strength if you push yourself hard enough.0 -
got room for a little spin bike? or an exercise step?0

I know winter is the hardest time for me to keep the workouts going. I just ordered the 30ds dvd and thats something I plan on doing in the morning, i also teach a zumba class twice a week which is also a good workout. You can get those on dvds online or even for like an xbox or wii or ps3 in the stores. its fun and you burn lots of calories.0

You can still run outside! I do and I live in Mass. A lot of companies make cold weather running attire. I have running tights, a running jacket, running gloves and a headband that goes over my ears.0

I know what you mean! When it is -40 here, it is too cold to go outside for anything other than driving somewhere. I will run up and down my stairs, workout DVD's my Wii, when I do housework I will add in squats etc. I also had a mini trampoline that I would jump on. The first obstacle for me though is to get out from under that warm fuzzy blanket!0

Getting cold here too.
No gyms or Y's close and no money for them so here is what we do...
This is my last week of C25K and this AM when I was getting ready to go run it was in the 20's! Brrrrr!
We decided to hold off and run this afternoon after school and when the temps are in the 40's at least.
Be flexible and the weather might work out for you...that's what we do.
We also have a Tae Bo video, Pilates For Dummies, and a Cardio Hip Hop dvd for when we just can't get out....but we would rather be outside.
Dress in layers and get movin'.0 -
I was getting concerned about the same thing. My best guess is try to stock up on a variety of workout DVDs. If you have the room for it try a jump rope, it can be done inside (like i said if you have the room).0

If you are in an area where you get snow, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and the like are great exercises. They burn huge amounts of calories, get you outside, and because you are active they keep you warm. I have never been cold while cross country skiing.
Also, for indoor stuff, try body weight exercise routines. I have posted stuff in the Body Weight Training group here, and some on my blog here. Body weight routines can be much more challenging than many people think they would be.0
