Hi all
I'm new to Mfp and have never calorie counted before but have followed weight watchers the past 4-5 years and did loose 5st and got to my goal weight - although the last year and half I have slacked and have re gained 2st 10lbs which I am not proud of.
I am getting married in 6 months and have my first dress fitting in 12 weeks time eeekkkk - I am desperate to be back into a uk size 10 again (I'm a 14 at the mo) and I want to stay there for good.
Should I be sticking to 1200 calories a day? Also I've entered myself for a 10 mile run in 11 weeks time so will start training for that this weekend - that should help the weight loss and burn some cals!

Hey
Another brit, cool...
Dont forget weight training, it really increases your calorie burn
You'll find plenty of motivation here, its a really nice atmosphere0 -
Stick to 1200 calories but if you exercise, then eat a little more! Don't ignore this as you'll only exhaust yourself by not eating enough. Also, I'd recommend shifting your calories to the firts two thirds of the day (so have a big breakfast and lunch but light dinner)...Good luck!0
